La traducción de un texto debería implicar mucho más que la simple traducción literal de cada una de las palabras que lo componen. El hecho de saber dar forma al nuevo texto y adaptarlo a un estilo en concreto para que suene lo más natural posible en la lengua objetivo debería formar parte del trabajo que realiza un traductor habitualmente.
Y ello no solo debería aplicarse a textos literarios, como seguramente estaréis pensando muchos de vosotros, sino también a textos institucionales e incluso científicos y profesionales.
